Default Kills command

We have a /deaths but no /kills
/deaths = total deaths
/kills = total foes killed by char

Maybe an idea for GW2 as i doubt they can find how many foes we killed in GW1

how is /deaths useful?
It's not but it's there so why not just for FUN.
Yes belive it or not i am one of the dying population that play the game for fun and its a laugh to share /deaths with guildys and would be fun to have a /kills in GW2
I accept it's too late for this in the current GW

Oh man, that would be sort of a depressing number to see.

Also, what count as a kill? Any death that your char got experience from?

This idea is flawed.
It's too hard to determine who gets the credit for a kill.

Besides the fact that there would be no way of ANet reclaiming the amount of monsters you've killed in the past, the number would be so freakin' huge it'd just be annoying.

HA Kill Count already shows why this mechanic is not viable in the game.
Who gets credit for a kill? The warrior who delievered a finishing blow or a mesmer who was degening the target?

You want to see just how much of a genocidal maniac you actually are, right ?

As for who gets the credit for a kill, I say we go with the easy option of giving everyone who gets xp from the kill a point on their kill counter because there is no-one with clean hands here. Not even the monks.

Doesn't matter..This option is very very simple.
Kill will spread across the map for those Allies who have
[LOCKED] on target. So if an ELE, Warrior and Mes both
locked on a target and it dies. That Integer in inputted into
the /kills command function.

Sheesh didn't you guys go to highschool?

Whenever you get faction for a kill...
public int killCounter(int kill){
kill=kill+1;
return kill;
}

So basicly if you just target a dying enemy, you get the points? Very smart indeed...

We all know if we played PvE, our kill count is probably higher than our death count.
And the reason I think deaths was put in was for the Survivor Title, so people know if they died at least once and don't need to get to level 20 just to find out they get no title.
